Fluid Mixer - DD 500

Design

Fluid Direct Drive Submersible Mixer makes use of a Cast Component, in stead of Fabricated Parts and Components, in Order to Produce a Product with a 30 year Service Live.
Submersible Motor, is our Fluid STD Motor, as used in the SC, VX and SH Range with approved Ex Option.
Interchangeable Rotors and Stators to meet RPM and kW demand.
International Patented Design makes it the Only Submersible Mixer where Propeller Thrust is Accommodated for.

Bearings

Motor Rotor Shaft: N.D.E. changed to Cylindrical Roller type to carry Rotor weight.
D.E. still fitted with the heavy Double Angular Contact type Bearings.

Output Shaft:The Fluid DD and PM Mixer is equipped with a "Separate from Rotor Shaft" Output Shaft, fitted between a Two Angular Contact Bearing at Coupling End and a preloaded Spherical Roller Thrust Bearing, locked with Lock Nut and Locking Washer.

Difference to Mixers in the marked: Radial- and Axial Thrust, together with Propeller's Back Thrust is accommodated in the Bearing Configuration. Other Mixers are only fitted with Deep Groove Ball or Angular Contact Bearings. With this stable Output Shaft and H7 Spigot configuration the Mechanical Shaft Seal is Flex Secure.

Mechanical Shaft Seal

Metal Bellow Type fitted with Viton O-Rings, Tungsten Carbide / Tungsten Carbide Faces.
Positioned in an Oil filled Chamber which allows for maximum Lubrication and Cooling.
No stringy fibres can accumulate around the Mechanical Shaft Seal. This allows for limited dry run without damage to the Mechanical Shaft Seal.

Propeller

Two-Blade, Self Cleaning Type. Material 304 or 316L Stainless Steel. Balanced to ISO 1940/1, G6.3.
Locking Element lock the Propeller to the Output Shaft and is sealed off from products by means of O-Rings on shaft.

Motor

— Motor Poles: 2, 4, 6, 8, 12.
— Voltage: 380/415, 50Hz; 525/550, 50Hz; 1000/1100, 50Hz.
— Insulation Class: H / 180°C, with B Temp Rise.
— Protection: IP68 @ 30m.
— EX Option: Ex II/IIB T4 Hb.

Materials / Composition

— Top Cover: GG25 Cast Iron.
— Output Shaft Housing: SG40 Cast Iron.
— Bearing Housing: GS40 Cast Iron.
— Propeller: 304 Stainless Steel; 316L Stainless Steel.
— Shaft: 431 T.
— O-Ring & Oil Seal: Nitrile Rubber.
— Mechanical Shaft Seal: Metal Bellow 316L - TC/TC - Viton.

Paint Protection

Epoxy Tar – Dual Pack – System B Specification for Immerse Condition.
